Sarah Grover is a hands-on customer-facing and savvy strategic leader who smoothly introduces, evolves and transforms brands to fit the rapidly-changing marketplace.   • Interim CMO for Garden Fresh Restaurants. Engaged to stabilize sales, rebuild the marketing and culinary team and design strategic roadmap for sales and traffic growth. After 4 months, positive guest counts reached for the first time in 2 years.
  • Chief Brand & Strategy Officer for Barfresh Food Group, Inc. Built the framework for aspects of brand marketing for emerging and innovative blended beverage company.
  • Executive Vice President and Chief Concept Officer for California Pizza Kitchen. Led significant brand transformation of 28-year-old restaurant chain by driving strategic process of critical functions, including product development/testing process, real estate model development, restaurant design, guest segmentation, menu optimization and brand strategy for $600M established concept. Grew annual marketing budget from practically zero to $12M throughout 25 year tenure and hired and directed all creative, media, social, digital and PR agencies to support ‘next chapter’ initiatives.
  • Retail Brand Specialist for Benihana. Led strategy and secured CPG partnership for brand retail channel.

Ms. Grover currently sits on the Board of the UCLA Extension Annual Restaurant Conference, UCLA Extension Dean’s Advisory Council and the Crayon Collection.
