Jeff Armstrong has more than 35 years of experience in operations, finance, and general management.  He has served in a variety of roles including executive management and advisor to corporate boards of directors, management, lenders, and investors. His specialties include developing and implementing new business models, working with finance and accounting teams to improve operations and reporting routines, liaising with creditors, lenders and private equity groups to source new financing.

Prior to joining CR3 Partners, Jeff served as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Sirrom Capital Corporation, a “venture” lender in Nashville, TN and as an Associate with Alpert Investment Corporation, an equity investment firm based in Dallas, TX.

Representative Experience

  • Chief Financial Officer for Tyler Perry Studios (“TPS”), Atlanta, GA based vertically-integrated entertainment company. Implemented new business model that developed. Significantly improved bank and management reporting routines. Revised credit agreements with lenders.
  • Chief Financial Officer of In Zone Holdings, Inc. operator of two consumer products – children’s beverage (Good2Grow) and line of thermo-insulated drinkware (Bubba Brands). Sourced new financing. Developed plan for move of production from China back to U.S. Played central role in the sale of Bubba Brands to Newell/Rubbermaid.
  • CFO to St. Louis, MO-based electronic/mechanical control device firm. Refinanced senior loan facility and raised additional equity capital from investors.
  • Advisor to Memphis-based steel processing company assisting the owner with operational and financial restructuring matters.
  • Financial Advisor to $90MM residential real estate developer.
  • CFO of $140MM publicly-traded manufacturer of industrial and consumer products with operations in four countries.
  • CRO for $90MM manufacturing company with operations in Mexico and China.
  • CRO of a $100MM food manufacturer. Rationalized operations and restructured the balance sheet resulting in significant additional equity capital.
