Scott Safron is a turnaround and restructuring professional with over 14 years of experience advising underperforming and distressed companies. He is skilled at formulating and successfully executing financial and operational turnaround plans, which deliver increased value to companies, lenders, and stakeholders. Scott brings deep experience in liquidity management, financial analysis, and business plan assessments to guide clients in their evaluation of strategic options. His experience spans a wide variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, restaurants, chemicals, automotive, energy, and consumer products.
Prior to CR3, Scott worked at Huron Consulting Group and Alvarez & Marsal, where he provided financial advisory and interim management services to both publicly traded and privately held companies. Scott is Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). He is also a recipient of the M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 Award in 2025.

- Chief Transformation Officer Team and Advisor to a $545MM television shopping network offering consumer products through cable and satellite systems. Led liquidity management and navigation through multiple forbearance agreements, advised leadership on Chapter 11, prepared financial reports and bankruptcy-related accounting matters, and coordinated successful in-court sale of assets.
- Chief Restructuring Officer Team and Advisor to a $300MM electric vehicle manufacturer. Performed financial and operational assessment, counseled company through Chapter 11 bankruptcy process and wind-down of operations.
- Advisor to $1B manufacturer and multi-level marketing company specializing in skincare. Managed cost-saving initiatives, developed business-unit level operating plans, and built organizational blueprint to support reductions and realignment of resources.
- Advisor to a $190MM Tex-Mex fast-food restaurant chain with 150 locations. Evaluated financial and operational metrics and created labor model to optimize staffing based on store metrics.
- Advisor to $900MM manufacturer and distributor of automotive towing products. Developed short- and long-term cash forecast and liquidity, developed three-statement model, and managed lender diligence process during $50MM capital raise.
