Prior to joining CR3 Partners, Chrystal served as Managing Partner of a corporate advisory and turnaround firm and has served in several interim C-Level positions. She is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
Representative Experience
- Key member of CRO/Restructuring team for Coach USA, a $350MM transportation company. Managed bankruptcy administration for 95 Debtor entities with 25 business units through the U.S. and Canada, more than 3,000 employees, and 2,000 buses. Efforts led to a successful 363 sale process through six distinct transactions, preserving company value and the continued employment of 95% of the workforce.
- Key member of CRO/Restructuring team for Buca di Beppo, a $180MM restaurant chain with 61 locations and 3,000 employees throughout the U.S. Managed bankruptcy administration for 10 Debtor entities, resulting in a successful sale through a credit bid and the continued operations of 44 locations.
- Key member of a financial advisory team to assist a $60MM hotel portfolio with 8 separate hotels in Florida. Successfully managed the bankruptcy administration process, assisted with operations and sales process, and worked closely with bankruptcy counsel to navigate contentious litigation matters. The result was the successful sale of all hotels in three distinct transactions.
- Interim COO for HydroScience Technologies and Solid Seismic, assisting in the effectuation of a confirmed Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan and continued to assist the liquidating Trustee.
- Interim CFO for Southwest Bottling and Co-Packing and Southwest Distillery and Winery. Successfully orchestrated the complicated sale and acquisition of a highly Texas-based distressed bottling facility, negotiated debt restructuring, successfully completed federal and state audits, and prepared and implemented new company SOPs and financial strategy.
