With over 30 years of business experience, Tom Oliver has been leading companies through rapid improvements and then profitably growing them.  His expertise is providing company-wide leadership for all functions, especially operations, manufacturing, product development, organizational transformation and culture shift.  He has served successfully as CEO, COO, VP of Manufacturing and VP of  HR for numerous companies.  He approaches opportunities with strategic direction, precise execution, and team motivation.  He has a well-established reputation as a humble and respected leader with experience in a variety of industries.

Mr. Oliver’s career has been driven by building multimillion-dollar consumer product brands and leading complex organizations and teams towards strategic business goals. His experiences include a strong foundation in leading companies as he has worked for private equity firms, founder/family-owned companies, international companies and a two-person startup. He is known as a quick study who asks many questions and then delivers results better than ever imagined.

Key accomplishments include:

  • PowerBar – From $70 million to $150 million in three years, launched new product lines and sold to Nestle for over $350 million.
  • Dole Philippines – From $265 million revenue to over $521 million in four years, while in the first year reduced COGS to save $65 million to bottom line.
  • Next Proteins – From $16 million to $24 million revenue while rapidly turning a negative net income to positive in one and a half years and increased stores from 4K to 20K.
  • Game Ready – Zero revenue startup to $19 million, raised $29 million in angel and venture financing and is a well known medical device company today.
  • Artco-Bell Corporation – Revived an unprofitable company to positive cash flow and profits within a one and a half year turnaround.
  • PowerBar Europe –Fixed a Subsidiary lost of $1.6 million by rebuilding into a new company and products to a profit of $1.2 million in just two years.

Mr. Oliver has completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University. He was also a Command Pilot while in the US Air Force and served our country as a Special Operations Combat Instructor Pilot in Laos and Cambodia.
