Ron Lottman, Director

Ron Lottman is a senior financial executive with significant accomplishments in global businesses, including public and private equity-backed organizations. He creates high-performance teams and builds enterprise value with hands-on experience in acquisitions, JVs, turnarounds, Bankruptcies, strategy, risk management, and complex negotiations.

Some past engagements include:

  • VP and CFO of Husqvarna Group (Americas): Mr. Lottman served as VP and CFO for the America’s division of the world’s largest producer of outdoor power products. During this time, the new team brought an operating loss of $97 million to solid profit in three years. Additionally, he introduced various approaches which generated more than $200 million of cash, identified and collected on a $5 million dollar contract error with $2 million ongoing annual savings missed by two previous CFOs, and reduced the U.S. corporate staff by 30% while improving service, information, and controls, including a two day reduction in the monthly closing process.
  • VP and CFO of Rexam PLC (North America Beverage Can Sector): Mr. Lottman served as VP and CFO for the North American Beverage Can Sector and its sister divisions of one of the world’s top five consumer packaging/manufacturing companies serving the beverage, personal care, healthcare and food markets. During this time, he established financial control and led the integration of administrative functions for a major acquisition with operations in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina. Within a zero-growth market, he helped double Return on Net Assets (RONA) from 20% to 40% with profit increasing 80% and achieved a sustainable negative working capital. He co-developed, coordinated and controlled an $80 million restructuring and re-engineering project, reduced $6 million in finance overhead costs, in part due to expanding SAP into manufacturing, and achieved world-class cost for the financial function at less than 0.2% of sales. He participated in the successful resolution of a number of failed contracts (Enron, Coors, Pabst, Dayton Systems Group) realizing $28 million in profit, capturing a new $120 million manufacturing contract, and establishing a new $100 million product line.

Mr. Lottman is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
