Rob Carringer, Partner

Rob Carringer held interim leadership roles and led projects in distressed and underperforming companies to improve operations, grow revenue, increase EBITDA and reduce working capital in a wide variety of industries.

Mr. Carringer’s experience brings a strong foundation of strategy, product development, sales, operations and finance. Some of his roles and accomplishments include:

  • Advised Tully’s Coffee Shops through reorganization and won the TMA Turnaround of the Year Award for 2014.
  • Advised a Chinese based subsidiary of a US heavy equipment manufacturer through a liquidity crisis.
  • Interim CEO of a chain of 135 convenience stores where he filed for Chapter 11 and successfully sold all stores through a unique 363 auction.
  • CEO/CRO of the largest pecan processor in the US where he ran operations through the busy season and resolved a $40MM over advance.
  • Interim CEO/CRO of a cellular telecom business that needed to transition all customers away and liquidate.
  • Advised a $100MM cellular telephone provider through a refinancing of its senior and sub debt.
  • Advised a $325MM LTL trucking company through a liquidity crisis and debt renegotiation.
  • CFO/CRO of a $105 million consumer products company.
  • CRO and COO of a $100 million manufacturer of store fixtures.
  • CRO of a media company where he managed an Article 9 foreclosure and sale process to a successful closing.
  • Chapter 11 Trustee for an ethanol producer.
  • CRO of a 250K head cattle feedyard business.
  • Advised an aerospace machining business with $100 million in debt on a financial restructuring.
  • Advised a manufacturer of high end kitchen equipment through a profit improvement program.

Mr. Carringer holds a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) designation from the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). He was awarded the 2014 TMA Small Transaction of the Year award. He was President of the Dallas/Ft. Worth TMA Chapter in 2015 and continues to serve on the Board of Directors.
