Mike Scotese has a 35-year track record of increasing both top and bottom lines while improving product quality in manufacturing OEMs and tier-one suppliers. He was trained by the best early in his career (Caterpillar, Mack Trucks, and Ingersoll-Rand). Mr. Scotese has extensive international exposure including two years living in Geneva, Switzerland. Mr. Scotese specializes in guiding companies to set short, medium & long-term goals, creating plans to drive to them and executing missions to realize them. He is a competent engineer, adept at sales and marketing, and has repeatedly demonstrated dramatic improvements in manufacturing efficiency, delivery and quality.

Previous experience includes:

  • CEO of Plibrico Co. LLC, President of Hi-Vac Corp. & President/General Manager of Poclain Hydraulics Inc.
  • CEO of $35million refractory OEM. Reversed declining book value and increased it 31% in two years while decertifying Steel Union and upgrading plant.
  • President of $35million truck OEM. Doubled production in 60 days with limited working capital and a well-tenured, change-resistant team.
  • President/GM of a $120million hydraulics OEM. Increased sales from $51million to $120million in seven years through The Great Recession while driving robotization into machining, implementing true 24/7 production and consistently setting revenue, profitability, and product quality records.
  • Senior Manager of New Product Development of a $700million construction equipment OEM. Implemented true cross-functional product development. Lead all Ingersoll-Rand business in lowest development cost and shortest development time per model.
  • Board of Directors member at the National Fluid Power Association and Plibrico Co.

Mr. Scotese holds patents, speaks some French and has visited all 50 states and  29 countries. He holds a Class A CDL, a private pilot’s license, is an avid hunter and rebuilds and enjoys occasionally racing his muscle and sports cars.
