Edwin Clark, Manager

Edwin Clark has spent his career in private equity and investment banking, with experience in principal investing and debt capital markets. Prior to joining CR3 Partners, Edwin was a Senior Associate at Catalyst Holdings and Actium Group, both Dallas based private equity firms. While at Catalyst and Actium he focused on evaluating new investments, deal due diligence, financial analysis, legal document review, and operational improvements of portfolio companies. Edwin started his career as an investment banking Analyst with Citigroup Global Markets, where he worked with deal teams and the debt underwriting syndicate to issue bonds on behalf of municipal clients.

Specific experience includes:

  • Member of CRO team to a distributor of pipes, valves, and fittings for midstream and downstream energy customers
  • Member of Financial Advisor team to the Unsecured Creditors’ Committee for a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Chapter 11
  • Interim VP of Finance and Operations for startup firearms manufacturer responsible for cash flow forecasting and accounting functions. Negotiated warehouse lease, insurance policies, and CNC machine financing on behalf of the Company.
  • Interim manager for high-end cosmetics company after the departure of the COO and before hiring of the new CEO. Implemented industry best practices, internal controls, forecasting, and quantitative metrics.
  • Board observer for organic packaged food company and assisted with strategic direction of product lineup.

Mr. Clark has his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the State of Texas. He is a member of the  Turnaround Management Association (TMA)’s NextGen and the co-chair for the Financial Professionals Committee of the DFW Association of Young Bankruptcy Lawyers (DAYBL).
