Dustin Lough has 20 years of experience in turnaround, crisis management, business valuation, and acquisition due diligence in a wide variety of industries. Mr. Lough is skilled in implementing effective turnaround strategies, managing through crisis situations, advising creditors, and is an accomplished interim executive.

Some past engagements include:

  • Interim CFO for a $100 million global media and publishing company with magazine and digital brands spanning the advertising and entertainment industries.
  • Chief Restructuring Officer for a $100 million grocery and frozen food distributor where he provided cash management services, negotiated debt restructuring with various creditors, and managed the business toward cash flow and profitability.
  • Interim CFO for a $60 million textile manufacturer of woven fabrics and yarns.
  • Advisor to a $700 million, publicly traded, global designer and manufacturer of footwear where he determined the working capital required to sustain operations through the company’s seasonal fluctuations in revenue and assisted in the development of the company’s plan to return to profitability.
  • Managed the liquidation of an integrated steel mill under Chapter 11 where he prepared the DIP budget, managed the company’s cash and liquidity, and supervised the successful disposition of inventory and other assets.
  • Advisor to a $350 million, publicly traded, international restaurant chain where he assisted the company through a sale process, refinancing of secured debt, and completed an overall business plan and fiscal budget.
  • Advisor to a $400 million seafood harvester and processing company during a sale process where he assisted in managing liquidity through seasonal working capital constraints, negotiated with lenders, and evaluated restructuring alternatives and purchase offers.
