Dennis Gerrard, Partner

Dennis Gerrard’s background spans over 30 years in senior leadership positions including 18 years in turnaround management and financial restructuring. He has served as CRO, CEO, COO and as a board member in many instances and various industries.

Mr. Gerrard has considerable experience in restructuring businesses to operate in cash-constrained environments, reducing manufacturing overhead and SG&A. His diverse category experience includes consumer products, garments and textiles, construction, automotive, paper and packaging, telecommunications, plastics, precision machining and distribution and logistics. He has successfully led or participated in the sale of 15 companies during his restructuring career, including Section 363 bankruptcy proceedings and Article 9 transactions, in addition to many re-financings.

Key assignments as the lead professional include:

  • CRO of a multi division automotive aftermarket supplier focused on the collision repair market.
  • Engaged as CRO, interim CEO and chairman of the board for a tri-state masonry contractor serving residential, commercial and municipal segments.
  • Interim CEO of a $100 million, multi-division apparel unit including operations in Mexico.
  • Engaged as interim CEO and board member of a multi-division plastics manufacturer.
  • As CRO of a $100 million clothing supplier with for major design houses with operations in the U.S. and Central America.
  • Served as financial advisor to a $125 million textile finisher and converter during their Chapter 11 restructuring proceedings.
  • Interim CEO and board member of a decorative and specialty packaging manufacturer and importer.
  • CRO and interim CEO of a packaging manufacturer and supplier for the horticultural and agriculture industries.

Prior to his turnaround management career Mr. Gerrard spent over 11 years as a CEO or COO and held board positions with companies in consumer products and plastics businesses. He is a Certified Turnaround Professional(CTP).
