Ms. Hill’s prior assignments have included serving as an advisor to management and interim management including:

  • Interim CFO for a not-for-profit following a federal funding agency audit with significant audit findings. Managed all aspects of Accounting, establish policies and procedures for the handling and recording of data, accounting system cleanup to allow for data integrity, implemented financial controls, created month end close process, produced accurate and timely financial reporting package for federal funding agencies and bank, completed annual budget, brought three years of delinquent annual audits to completion. After only four months into the engagement, was able to complete the current fiscal year end audit in 75 days, as required by the lenders, with no audit findings.
  • Interim CFO Controller for a family-owned business. Created integrated cash-flow model to project current state and future state with operational-improvement savings. Responsible for accounting staff, day to day cash management, vendor relationships and payment plans, weekly cash flow reporting to bank, monthly close process, and accounting-system improvements.
  • Interim Accounting Manager for a not-for-profit in crisis with responsibilities including management of all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, and Financial Reporting, multiple months of account reconciliations and financial month-end closing to bring financial records current. Established processes, procedures, and best practices to improve the efficiencies and controls of the financial organization. Assisted with bank financing due diligence, audit, and legal settlements for multiple state and federal regulatory agencies during this assignment.
  • Director of Financial Reporting for a technology company. Managed financial and accounting applications including upgrades, new functionality, module add-ons, and patches, performed system analysis and needs assessment for all financial and management data requirements. Governed and administered general ledger chart of accounts, maintained and generated consolidated monthly financial reporting package for management, prepared bank credit line compliance reporting, supervised stock option exercises and maintained relationship with brokers and company transfer agent, coordinated annual budget and quarterly forecasts for all global lines of business, generated budget to actual reporting for all levels of the organization as well as SEC reporting.
