David Tiffany, Director

David Tiffany is a financial professional with over 15 years of combined experience in financial services and turnaround management. He has assisted companies with tasks such as cash management, securing of financing, assessing of business plans, merger and acquisitions activities, and financial modeling in multiple industries.

Mr. Tiffany previously served as a Managing Director at the turnaround group GlassRatner as well as at Deloitte (Deloitte CRG) where he led engagement teams and managed daily client’s interaction and negotiations with stakeholders (lenders, vendors, and private equity firms).

Some of his select prior engagements include:

  • Chief Restructuring Officer during the bankruptcy process and ultimate 363 sale of a defense contractor company. Responsibilities included preparation and filing of the bankruptcy, negotiations with customers and current equity sponsors and ultimate sale of the assets.
  • Debtor financial advisor for the wind-down of a $60 million multi-state medical office management company that focused on eye care health where responsibilities included working alongside the equity sponsor and counsel to manage the auction and sale of practices as well as managing cash, asset recovery and ultimate liquidation of inventory.
  • Debtor financial advisor during the pre-package bankruptcy process and ultimate sale of a $65 million consumer products company. Responsibilities included negotiations with current lenders and potential equity investors as well as managing operating cash flows and operational metrics.
  • Strategic Advisory to a $1.5 billion healthcare company where responsibilities included developing a fully-integrated financial model that projected EBITDA, liquidity, and cash flow positions depending on including and excluding facilities and their associated assets that contributed to the company’s overall borrowing base and revolving credit facility.
  • Strategic Advisory to a winery with revenues in excess of $60 million where responsibilities included debt restructuring, refinancing transactions, overseeing the sale of assets, and strategic consulting to re-engineer the company’s sales and marketing channels, cash flow management, and financial reporting
  • Strategic Advisory to a $280 million publicly-traded restaurant company where responsibilities included managing store-by-store profitability analysis in order to determine store rationalization and developing a model to analyze various capital structures and restructuring scenarios.
  • Appointed Examiner in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona, Case #15-11190-BKM. The matter involved full oversight and examination of the Debtor’s operations as well as providing regular status updates to the court.
  • Appointed Chapter 11 Trustee in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona, Case # 14- 12716-BKM. The matter involved the wind-down and auction/sale of intellectual property and all remaining assets of the Company.

He earned his Certified Public Account (CPA) in the state of Indiana in 1996 and is involved with both Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and Turnaround Management Association(TMA).
