Avery  Alcorn

Avery Alcorn is a former CFO with an extensive background in financial management and restructuring. He is skilled in managing an entity while in Chapter 11, strategic planning, strategic acquisition analysis, modeling and forecasting, hedging, and working capital management.

Avery has evaluated and ranked oil and gas assets for near and long-term value, allowing him to plan, strategize, and execute restructuring strategies. He has also implemented an ERP system for a new entity, including full-service oil and gas accounting, invoice processing, document management, and production management systems.

Representative Experience
  • Financial Advisor in the U.S. winddown of an international oilfield service company in an operating Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which involved multiple properties in 14 different states with thousands of assets and inventory products, and management of environmental concerns.
  • Provided Interim management support for California-based real estate, oil and gas hybrid company. Support included acquisition integration, asset evaluation & optimization, ERP design & implementation, financial reporting, working capital management, and strategic planning.
  • Negotiated directly with the U.S. Government, state, and local agencies on environmental and regulatory issues both inside and outside of Chapter 11.
  • CFO for oil and gas exploration and production company. Closed 26 negotiated acquisitions, grew production 500%, designed and implemented new ERP system, and provided strategic planning for growth and optimization.
  • Evaluated business plan, operating budget, acquisition targets for U.S-based oilfield service company in support of lender who funded following recommendations.
